“It’s a time to focus on abilities and not disabilities”

On the 14th of October, a worker from the Special Olympics all the way from Abu Dhabi came to St. Mary’s Muhaisnah to share the knowledge about the Special Olympics and what it is formally about.
The Special Olympics is a program where people determination got to do sports and showcase their incredible talents and amazing skills. Volunteer workers and students from other schools all over the U.A.E came to support, promote and conduct sports matches.
He also gave out questions to the students of St. Mary’s Muhaisnah to challenge their knowledge about the Olympics. He also asked if anyone would love to join to be a volunteer worker during the game.
Lastly he concluded by telling the students that they are free to visit whenever they want to, that the tickets are free and they are welcomed to come with their parents any time.
