Event: World Cultural day.
Date: 20/5/2021
Participants: FS students and Teachers.
Activity: ‘My Culture, My Pride’ – Children showcase their ethnic attire and food, talk about it to their peers in small groups and dance to the tunes of music from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Goal: The main objective is to know that Cultural Diversity is important because our world consists of various cultural, racial, and ethnic groups. In the UAE we live and interact with people of different cultural backgrounds. Therefore, they can learn from one another and develop tolerance for each other in order to facilitate collaboration and cooperation.
Learning Outcome: Students will be tolerant of each other and gain confidence in interacting with people of different cultural backgrounds.
