Event: Virtual Christmas celebration
Date: 9/12/2020
Participants: FS students and staff.
Activity: Children made their own accessories to wear while singing, dancing and celebrating Christmas from home while still in the midst of a pandemic.
Goal: The main objective was to help the children realise that celebrations were important under all circumstances. Celebrations, even though being celebrated through a digital platform, were still as much needed to lift children’s’ spirits and bring joy.
Learning Outcome: The students learnt to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. We not only created special memories but also taught them life skills that will help them through ups and downs for years to come.
