It was a fun and meaningful day at SMM as the whole community celebrated the UAE Flag Day, commemorating President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s assumption of office as the leader of the country (2004), and at the same time anticipating the UAE’s Golden Jubilee!
The students were immersed in different activities simultaneously! From flag making to eating fruits that represent the colours of the flag! From attending a UAE appreciation assembly to creating a UAE flag interactive bulletin board! And to top it all off, the school leaders raised the flag of the UAE at 11:00 am and proudly sang the UAE’s national anthem.
