Participants: FS students and Staff

Activity: Children had fun creating UAE related craft work, henna designing and tasted the UAE traditional food during their snack time.

Goal: To create awareness of the history of the UAE and instill pride in the heritage of the nation.

UAE National Day marks the formation of the federation of the seven emirates thus creating the UAE of today.  The day is celebrated across the country with various forms of festivities including firework displays in different parts of the cities.  At SMM, the   teachers organised some fun activities for the children to learn about the UAE.

Learning Outcome: The students learnt to appreciate and feel proud of the culture and traditional values of the UAE.
