Just before the UAE National Day celebrations could sweep the nation away, SMM Winter Fair, 2022-2023, organized by FOSMM, provided the most fitting Saturday afternoon entertainment for the entire school community.

It was 28^th November, 2022, when the school grounds buzzed with activity and excitement as it got ready for the much awaited fun event.  The school drum and lyre band announced the opening with Mr. Jaime Roth, the principal, welcoming the guests to one of the signature events of SMM and wishing all a memorable family time.

Game stalls manned by staff and Student Council members were a major attraction for the children.  Off they went to get coupons to try their hand and luck at the different games!  The sheer variety of snacks and artefacts sold at the stalls or the boot of the cars lured the crowd from one stall to another to discover a new taste or a memento to carry away!  The afternoon hummed with leisurely chattering of people and children having a good time with friends.

The registration booth was busy dispensing coupons with a promise of a few jackpot wins!

Meanwhile, the stage warmed up to host the Talent Show for the song and dance enthusiasts.  Amid the gaze of the doting parents and family members, the children showed off their talents and kept the audience musically entertained.

On the other side of the football field, Santa was busy posing with students and cheering them on.   Christmas cheer was indeed in the air!

An onsite free medical camp provided an opportunity for the busy parents to get a long overdue health check done.  There was something for everyone!

Crowds milled around the food stalls or sat enjoying the music or simply enjoyed the vibrancy of the afternoon with their family and friends.  The Winter Fair, organized by the Friends of SMM (FOSMM) and supported by the school staff and students, once again kindled the spirit of togetherness and brotherhood in the close knit SMM community.
